All vibes welcome! Join 500hr Trained Yoga Instructor and Nature Connection Facilitator Christina Hunt, aka the Barefoot Gnome for yoga at the Oakland Nature Preserve. These slower paced classes are perfect for beginners and all-levels, slow down and reconnect surrounded by the beauty of the Oakland Nature Preserve. Each class is inspired by the month's theme and ends with a positive affirmation.
Be sure to bring a mat or towel as well as bug spray just in case.
Yoga at the Lake: Yoga at the Lake is a gentle, slow-flow yoga class for all-levels at the end of the Healthy West Orange Boardwalk. Please allow an extra few minutes to allow yourself time to walk the 2/3 of a mile to the lake for class.
Fall Mindfulness Hike and Yoga: Join Christina Hunt for a meditative Fall Hike and Yoga session at the Oakland Nature Preserve, Saturday September 24th at 9am. We'll check-in at the Education Building, then head off for a short meditation followed by a 2 mile hike through the beautiful trails of the Oakland Nature Preserve.
Be sure to bring your yoga mat, a journal & pen, and a water bottle. Cost is $15, or bring a friend for $20 for the two of you! Pre-registration required.
Christina will meet everyone in front of the educational building (not on the boardwalk as for regular Yoga sessions).

Christina is a 500hr trained yoga & meditation teacher, Ayurveda Consultant, Mindful and Meditative art Facilitator, Growing Up WILD trained Outdoor Educator, and Florida Edible Plant enthusiast. She has been a yoga practitioner for over a decade and began teaching yoga in 2020. Nature inspires everything she does, including yoga. So, no matter which class, event, or workshop you take with her, you are sure to leave feeling more connected with nature and self.
